Muse Concrete Contractors has an opening for a full-time Front Office Assistant/Accounts Payable Clerk. Applicants must be professional and able to handle multiple tasks in a busy office setting.

Pay: $20-$22/hour DOE

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

• High School diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years’ Accounts Payable experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience using office equipment and technology
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts
• Ability to professionally answer and process phone calls
• Must be organized, reliable, and efficient
• Understand and work within confidentiality guidelines
• Able to work under general supervision and independently
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be flexible and able to work a modified weekly schedule as needed
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds, and sit for long periods of time
• Construction background is preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):

• Timely and accurately process payable invoices in accordance with company policies
• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding balances
• General office administration and support for all departments
• Answering telephone calls
• Assist walk-in applicants, guests, and vendors
• Open, stamp, and distribute internal and external mail promptly
• Filing documents as needed
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date vendor files and electronic records
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date license files and electronic records
• Assist with employee events, programs, and meetings
