Treatment Plant Intern

Overview As a Treatment Plant Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience in water treatment processes, operations, and maintenance at one of our facilities. You will work alongside skilled professionals in various aspects of the wastewater treatment cycle, including system monitoring, data collection and analysis, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Internship Details This is a 5‑week summer internship for students studying wastewater operations in the ERTC Program at SIUE. Internships will run from May12th–June13th and June16th–July18th. Qualifications Candidates must be currently enrolled in the ERTC Program at SIUE. Pursuant to MSD's "Substance Abuse Policy and Procedures", this position has been designated as safety sensitive and the candidate must pass a non‑DOT drug test. Employees occupying this position are not subject to federal (DOT) drug and alcohol testing regulations.
