Base salary: $130,000-$165,000

skilled, and patient-focused Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. The Certified Prosthetist Orthotist is responsible for evaluating, designing, fabricating, fitting, and managing custom prosthetic and orthotic devices that improve mobility, function, comfort, and quality of life. This role requires clinical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care while collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history, physical assessment, gait analysis, and functional mobility assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients requiring prosthetic and orthotic intervention.
• Measure, cast, scan, design, fit, and adjust upper and lower extremity prosthetic devices and spinal, upper, and lower extremity orthoses.
• Select appropriate components, materials, and technologies to meet each patient's functional goals and clinical needs.
• Provide patient and caregiver education regarding the use, care, maintenance, and expected outcomes of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Perform follow-up evaluations, adjustments, repairs, and modifications to ensure optimal fit, function, and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, case managers, and other members of the rehabilitation team.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation in accordance with company policies, payer requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accreditation, ethical, safety, and professional practice standards.
• Stay current with advancements in prosthetic and orthotic technologies through continuing education and professional development.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Required Qualifications

• Current Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) credential through the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC) or an equivalent recognized credentialing organization.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure, where required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Orthotics & Prosthetics program.
• Completion of an accredited Orthotics and Prosthetics residency program.
• Strong clinical assessment, patient evaluation, fitting, and device management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education abilities.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
