- Performing thorough patient evaluations, coordinating diagnostic testing, and creating personalized care plans
- Diagnosing and treating various acute, episodic, or chronic conditions independently or in collaboration with physicians, as credentialing permits
- Instructing patients and families on wellness, disease prevention, and management strategies
- Prescribing medication and therapies in accordance with your professional scope
- Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
- Working synergistically with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee integrated, comprehensive care
- Maintaining precise and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Arizona
- Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent in your specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire these within 90 days)
