Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday through Sunday Work Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients throughout the maternity unit
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Assist with and support vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the care team
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn care, and discharge instructions

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Demonstrated clinical experience in a Labor and Delivery or Maternity setting
• Ability to work night shift hours on a Monday through Sunday rotating schedule
• Ability to fulfill a 13-week travel contract assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a maternity or labor and delivery environment
• AWHONN fetal monitoring certification or equivalent
• Experience in a critical access or rural hospital setting
