Registered EEG Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered EEG Technician to join our Clinical Neurophysiology Lab team. This technician will provide inpatient and outpatient EEG coverage, including services for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients as well as long-term monitoring (LTM) in ICU and EMU cEEGs settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEGs on neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Conduct long-term monitoring in ICU and EMU cEEGs environments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough records using Natus Xltek EMR Cerner Powerchart.
• Apply Collodion materials with precision when required.

Schedule

This position operates on a rotating schedule, including coverage on weekends and call responsibilities. The regular hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Saturday to Sunday from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a Registered EEG Technician.
• Experience in neonatal and pediatric EEGs is required.
• Inpatient hospital experience is essential; 4+ years preferred.
• Collodion application experience is a plus.
