Position Details

Shift: Days - 12 Hour: 48/36 Hour Split Rotation

This role requires a two-week rotation with the following schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Monday, Tuesday . Holiday shifts are included in the rotation.

Job Description

This position involves working in Adult and Adolescent Units within a psychiatric health-care facility. The primary responsibilities include providing high-quality nursing care, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Educational Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric health-care facility is preferred.

Licensure

Candidates must be currently licensed to practice by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. CPR certification is required and can be obtained through a partner site if necessary.

Training and Certification

Successful candidates will be required to complete the following within specified time frames:

• CPR certification and training in the appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment.
• Handle with Care training and Service Excellence Training within 90 days of employment.
