You're a great contributor to a high performing team that accomplishes great feats for our clients.The ideal candidate will provide technical engineering support for our large federal government agency's highly complex network infrastructure environment to include multiple enclaves comprising various classification levels.Responsibilities:Lead recommendations that involves engineering development, integration, and interface design analysis, installation, integration, fielding and field analysis, operation, maintenance, and testing of customers communication systems and networks hardware and software.Supports the local, regional, and wide area networks (WANs), and customers communication systems and networks supporting voice, video, data, and imagery information.Review and analyze the existing network architecture and provide designs of current/modern WAN/MAN/LAN technologies Recommends best practices such as Software Defined Network (SDN), Intent-based networking, and network segmentation protocols, etc., to improve the existing architecture and meet new networking requirementsDesigning telecommunications circuit specifications.Identify the need for routers, switches, and encryption devices to support enterprise services • Deliver service catalog items for automatically provisioning network configurations to deliverDevelop and maintain network architecture specifications and artifactsRequirements:Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI10+ years of Cisco experienceExtensive experience with Cisco routing platforms, such as Aggregation Services Routers (ASRs), and Integrated Service Routers (ISRs)Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of routing protocols and technologies including BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, GREDemonstrated in-depth knowledge of Layer 2 technologies including STP, MST, VLANSDemonstrated experience in overseeing and troubleshooting complex Local Area Networking (LAN) issues and resolving Wide Area Networking (WAN) problems and implementing, integrating, and supporting of cost-effective, high-performance IP and LAN/WAN solutions.Experience with network design and traffic engineeringExperience providing senior-level engineering support and subject matter expertiseLarge enterprise environment experienceExcellent communication skillsPreferred Additional Skills and Qualifications:CCNP and/or CCIE CertificationMaster's or Bachelor's degree in relevant fieldKnowledge of AWS and Azure cloud solutionsExperience in working with Software Defined NetworksExperience in network engineering within the federal intelligence communityAbility to adhere to a disciplined troubleshooting methodology, and ensure task/mission completion, along with creating and maintaining necessary informationHighly self-motivated and directed, with attention to detailAble to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
