Pharmacy Care Representative

As a Pharmacy Care Representative, you'll work in a team environment to provide superior customer service that exceeds patient expectations. Key responsibilities include providing superior customer service, working closely with Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Pharmacy Care Representatives to provide excellent patient care, promoting greeting, asking, and thanking strategies, and handling written prescriptions and refill numbers. You will also manage prescription-related paperwork, use the RXEVO point of sale system, and direct customers to the counseling window for Pharmacist consultation. Additionally, you will maintain manual signature capture receipts, process prepaid prescriptions, and ensure all prescription deliveries are finalized. You will participate in Rx screening events, flu shot scheduling, immunization scheduling, and future medication therapy management events. Inventory management duties include receiving OTC inventory, staging inventory, complying with Return to Stock SOP, ensuring correct stocking, and recording temperature logs. Compliance and sanitation responsibilities include adhering to HIPAA regulations, TSBP rules, and H-E-B SOPs, processing PSE transactions, ensuring department compliance with presentation, organization, sanitation, and maintenance guidelines, and removing trash from the department.

Qualifications include being 18 years or older, having experience in retail and pharmacy, working in a fast-paced environment, possessing working knowledge of pharmacy-related tasks, H-E-B RXEVO system, register procedures, and H-E-B Pharmacy SOPs, strong communication and customer service skills, mathematical skills, PC skills including MS Office and H-E-B software, cash-handling skills, ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, ability to demonstrate strong telephone etiquette, ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks, ability to work in a team environment, and willingness to cross-train. Education requirements include a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent. Licenses/certifications include completion of all required training and certification.

Physical demands include functioning in a fast-paced, retail, office environment, working rotating shifts including nights and weekends, standing for extended periods, regularly lifting 30 lbs or more, fulfilling vision requirements for the job, and maintaining H-E-B Rx screener status including required recertification.
