Role Description As a member of this fast‑paced and highly motivated team, you will use your creativity and diverse range of engineering training to explore solutions to a variety of building mechanical system problems. The Mechanical Engineer will participate in the production, design, and construction phases of the project on a diverse range of building types. The candidate will work cross‑functionally with other disciplines and multiple project teams. Candidates must be located in the Gainesville/Jacksonville, Florida area.* Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required 3‑5+ years of experience designing and developing projects from concept to completion Mechanical engineer with experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design for commercial construction, including preparing construction documents, engineering reports, and conducting field investigations Experience in designing projects valued at over $5 million in construction cost Must be able to prepare deliverables including: calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications Detailed knowledge of general building construction and mechanical systems is essential Excellent analytical and technical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills LEED BD+C and CxA certification is a bonus H1B Sponsorship not available for this position #J-18808-Ljbffr H2Engineering, Inc.
