BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Maintenance Technician to support a multifamily apartment community in Shawnee, KS 66203 . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional with strong HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance skills who takes pride in delivering quality repairs and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems
• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, and general maintenance repairs
• Complete carpentry and other property maintenance projects
• Assist with unit turns and make-ready preparation
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
• Respond to resident service requests with professionalism and a customer-focused attitude
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards

Qualifications

• EPA/HVAC Certification required
• Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and general maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must have reliable transportation and maintenance tools
