Diesel Technician

TA Truck Service in Janesville is currently hiring for a Certified Diesel Technician. Pay Range Starting at $32-$50/hour plus additional commission opportunities. 2-3 years experience required with credentials. Must have your own tools. Shifts All shifts available – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Weekend and 3rd shift offer additional $5 premium per hour. Responsibilities Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide Diagnose wear conditions and together with TSA or Manager, makes recommendations to customers Complete repairs within their capabilities and as written Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs Follow safety guidelines and reports potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and/or customers. Typical Physical Demands In this role, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending over, crouching, crawling, climbing, and repetitive use of legs are done occasionally. The team member is occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs and/or move heavy objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
