Sleep Medicine Technician

We are seeking a qualified Sleep Medicine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing in-lab sleep studies and ensuring efficient operations within the sleep medicine department.

Position Information

• Role: Sleep Medicine Technician
• Specialty: Sleep Medicine
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Nights (3x12)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Call Requirements: None

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and conduct in-lab sleep studies (2 studies per shift, 3 nights weekly).
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during sleep studies.
• Interpret data collected during studies and report findings as required.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: RPSGT, BLS
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year post-registration experience, preferably in an AASM accredited sleep center.
• Preferred Certifications: RRT-SDS, CRT-SDS

• Number of Beds: 2
• Patient Ratios: 2:1
• Equipment: Natus XLTEK Sleep Works
• EMR System: EPIC

The successful candidate will be expected to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
