About the Position

Primary Care MD or NP

Location: Florida

Schedule: Ongoing per diem day shifts

Openings: 1

Position Overview

• Outpatient primary care and acute care for employees and family members.
• Focus on wellness and prevention, acute episodic care, and chronic condition management.
• May include occupational health and workers compensation related visits, including work related injury evaluation, return to work determinations, and DOT related services as applicable.

Clinical Scope

• Patients age 2 and older.
• Common services may include physicals, pre employment exams, drug and alcohol testing, suturing and laceration repair, splinting, and minor fracture care.
• Electronic medical record: Athena experience preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO: board certified or board eligible.
• NP or PA: nationally certified.
• Active Florida license.
• DEA required.
• Minimum two years of recent experience required.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
