Surgical Technologist

Performs scrub nurse duties for surgical cases and assists registered nurse in caring for the surgical patient. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills of aseptic techniques. Graduate from a Surgical Technology Program with current active national CST certification. Must demonstrate knowledge of surgical instrumentation supplies and equipment. When scheduling permits performs business office and clean processing support. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population served.
