Medical Assistant (Full Time)

Job Summary Full‑time Medical Assistant at our Toms River office. Responsible for performing high‑quality medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a dermatology setting. Previous healthcare experience required. Key Responsibilities Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care offered to patients and providers. Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures. Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorizations and procedures within established guidelines. Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate next steps to the best of your ability. Prep rooms before and after patients, including checking all equipment at the beginning of each shift to ensure all is in proper working order. Provide pre‑care and post‑care treatment instructions as needed. Scan all retail and cosmetic products and medical supplies daily and alert Head MA and/or GM of any low‑level supplies. Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested. Attend all in‑house training and continued education opportunities. Qualifications Dermatology experience preferred. Health‑care experience required. Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred. Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems. Computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Excellent patient relations and customer service skills. Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends. Schedule & Compensation Schedule: Full time, 30+ hours. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7:00am – 7:30pm. Flexible to help cover in a team environment. Hourly Pay Range: $18 – $22.
