Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery

This position is for a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery. The unit has a total of 12 beds and maintains a patient ratio of 1:2. Staffing includes RNs, unit secretaries, and OR techs. Equipment includes a documentation system, CPN, and Meditach. RNs are required to work 3 weekend shifts and 1 call shift. Additional call shifts are required for techs. RNs will perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor. Advanced skills in the care of laboring patients and newborns are necessary. Unit secretaries and tech availability support staff needs. The facility promotes shared decision-making for patient experience. Scrubs must be Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray. Candidates should be aware of unit-specific policies and guidelines. This position offers opportunities for professional development and participation in a collaborative healthcare team.
