What a day looks like
You clock in, review blueprints, prep your station, and run clean GMAW (MIG) beads to bring rugged steel parts to life. Your welds become the backbone of construction equipment, compactors, and trash cans used every day. When the job calls for it, you switch over to stick welding and keep production moving—whether you’re on the shop floor or occasionally stepping into the elements to finish a critical assembly.
What you’ll build- Steel components and assemblies for construction equipment
- Structural parts for compactors
- Durable panels and frames for trash cans
- 1–2 years of hands-on MIG (GMAW) welding experience
- Ability to read and assemble parts from blueprints
- Proven ability to pass a weld test
- Steel fabrication experience (preferred)
- Reliable work ethic and consistency on the job
- Comfort working in a shop environment with occasional exposure to the elements
