Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Current and valid social work licensure appropriate for school-based practice
• Previous experience in a school environment strongly preferred
• Compassionate communicator with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage caseloads and maintain accurate, confidential documentation
• Skilled in crisis intervention, counseling, and resource coordination
• Familiarity with special education procedures and developing student support plans is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and counseling to students dealing with personal, social, or academic challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school professionals to develop intervention strategies
• Conduct assessments and develop plans to address the unique needs of each student
• Act as a liaison between school, families, and community resources to ensure comprehensive support
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans when necessary
• Educate staff and families on social-emotional strategies and promote a positive school climate
• Maintain thorough records in compliance with all confidentiality and regulatory standards
