About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required. First-time travelers are accepted. License: Texas PT License (pending license accepted) Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience with a variety of rehabilitation techniques and patient care. Description: Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00. Unit accepts first-time travelers. The facility does not contract travelers residing in certain counties. Candidates must have a state or compact license in hand at the time of application. All required time off must be listed at the time of application. Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler. Onboarding requirements include completing core items and labs within a specified timeframe. Modules are non-billable, and all hours are factored in. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The average daily census is 33 patients. Candidates should have experience with adaptive devices and rehabilitation techniques, including assessment, mobilization, and various therapeutic approaches. Experience in outpatient clinics is preferred. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to provide ongoing patient and family education. Knowledge of electronic charting systems is required. Candidates will be part of an interdisciplinary team and provide care for a range of patient diagnoses and conditions.
