Participants gain hands-on experience through a structured rotational program that provides exposure to a wide range of disciplines, including design, planning, construction, maintenance, traffic operations, program management, right of way, and emerging transportation technologies. The program combines real-world project assignments, cross-functional learning, mentorship, and leadership engagement to help participants understand how Florida delivers and operates one of the nation's most complex transportation systems.The ideal candidate is a curious, high-potential professional who wants to learn how a major transportation organization operates from multiple perspectives. Beyond technical knowledge, successful participants bring strong communication skills, initiative, adaptability, and a passion for collaboration, continuous learning, and leadership development. This is intended for individuals who aspire to become well-rounded professionals capable of connecting people, projects, and ideas to improve transportation systems for the future.What You'll Do:Completes assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.Responsible for preparation and/or modification for select portions of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.Develops project quantities and assists with development of cost estimates.Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.Able to self-sufficiently complete various tasks and duties including but not limited to research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.Performs other duties as assigned.What You'll Need:Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience, orMaster’s degree in Engineering and 1 year of relevant experienceWhat You'll Bring:Exhibits proficiency in applying engineering, geometric and algebraic principles in your work.Displays proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and MicroStation and/or AutoCad or other software as required for job assignments.Proficient in developing PowerPoint presentations and public speaking - with a focus on leadership presentations.What We Prefer:Engineer in Training (EIT) certificationKnowledgeable of multiple aspects of a project - broad engineering understandingAdditional InformationClick here for benefits information: HNTB Total RewardsClick here to learn more about Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteranVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.#AJ #ProgramManagement.Locations:Orlando, FL.....................NOTICE TO THIRD-PARTY AGENCIES:HNTB does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or agencies.
