Rebate Disbursement Analyst (G26) within OptumRx

Environment: Hybrid

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST, no overtime expected.

The position supports the accurate and timely disbursement of approximately $18B in annual client rebate payments, by owning end to end rebate disbursement execution for an assigned client portfolio, serving as the subject matter expert on client contracts and rebate terms, and partnering cross functionally with Quality Control, Continuous Improvement, Rebate Analytics, Billing, FP&A, Legal, Underwriting, and Client Management to resolve issues, perform variance and root cause analysis, and drive process improvements.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Interpreting contracts and setup logic
• Executing payments in disbursement systems
• Meeting accuracy and timeliness metrics
• Responding to internal and external inquiries through independent research
• Identifying inefficiencies in established processes
• Supporting ad hoc initiatives.

The ideal candidate has:

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• The ability to multitask and shift priorities
• Clear communication skills
• SQL experience is preferred.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in complex financial operations, rebate operations, payment operations, or a similar analytical environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel .
