We are seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant for an ongoing Critical Care locum opportunity in Ohio. This position offers flexible monthly scheduling in a closed ICU with no procedural responsibilities.
Assignment Details

- Approximately 5 10 shifts per month

Practice Setting
- Closed Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Community hospital
- Meditech EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
- Manage critically ill adult patients
- Collaborate with hospitalists and nocturnists
- Develop and adjust treatment plans
- Daily ICU rounding
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care
No procedures required
Coverage Model
- Hospitalist physicians onsite during the day
- Two Critical Care APPs on day shift
- Dedicated nocturnist overnight
- Collaborative ICU team

Requirements
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant
- ACNP certification required for Nurse Practitioners
- Active Ohio license
- Active Ohio DEA
- AANP or ANCC certification (NP)
- NCCPA certification (PA)
- ACLS required
Credentialing
- Standard credentialing documentation required
- Case logs required based on requested privileges
- CME attestation required
