Your passion and advanced knowledge in data analysis, statistics, AI, and machine learning will be instrumental in driving data-driven products and services across the banking industry.Essential Functions:Applies developed knowledge and understanding of building large-scale machine learning, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics tools; proficient in multiple data-related programming languagesProficient creating machine learning, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics tools tailored to solve business problemsExperience in large data sets and algorithmsConsiders and analyzes information from multiple data sources, including experience and input from others when determining the best approach for routine and non-routine problemsAbility to prototype ideas and demonstrate pros and cons in a clear and concise mannerUnderstanding of data science priorities and how each contributes to the success of nCinoDemonstrates ability to acquire domain knowledge of the business and effectively applies this expertise to inform model development and problem-solving approachesExtensive experience in developing, deploying, and monitoring complex machine learning modelsLead and guide teams in implementing programming best practices and adopting emerging technologiesLeverage AI tools and techniques to enhance software development activities, including code generation, testing, debugging, and optimization.Apply AI insights to identify patterns, automate repetitive tasks, and improve overall development efficiency and product quality.Evaluate and integrate AI/ML capabilities where appropriate to strengthen product functionality and user experience.Maintain awareness of emerging AI trends and best practices to inform continuous learning and innovation.Qualifications:Required:Undergraduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field with 5+ years of related experience or combination of experience and educationDemonstrated mastery of programming skills in Python or RExperience with data visualization tools (DOMO, AWS Quicksight, Tableau, etc.)Demonstrated mastery of machine learning algorithms and techniquesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaborativelyStrong experience with SQL or noSQL and database management systemsExperience deploying and monitoring models in productionStrong understanding of the business domainAbility to translate business questions into analytics projects and deliver actionable insightsFlexibility and the ability to be productive in a fast-paced, team environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiencesFamiliarity with production code practices, including unit testing, object-oriented programming (OOP), error handling, logging, contract testing, and version controlDesired:Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related fieldExperience developing and deploying models using Databricks and mlflowExperience with AWS tools and services, including Lambda, Sagemaker, S3, Athena, QuicksightExperience with Agile software developmentIf you thrive in a high-energy, entrepreneurial environment, we invite you to share your passion, ideas and excitement at nCino.The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement.
