The Senior Company is seeking to add a warm, organized, and reliable Onboarding Specialist to our team!

Hiring Locations: Position may require occasional travel between offices in Springfield NJ and River Edge NJ Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 4:00 PM

Job Tasks

• Greet and welcome all visitors with a friendly and professional attitude
• Help guide new hires through the onboarding process, creating a smooth and positive experience
• Explain company policies, benefits, and culture during onboarding and orientation
• Collect, review, and verify applicant documentation in the office to ensure all required paperwork is complete and accurate
• Partner with internal teams to provide updates on applicants and hiring progress
• Keep employee records accurate, organized, and up to date
• Assist with employment verifications in line with state regulations and CAHC standards
• Help schedule caregivers for internal trainings
• Maintain and update the ETS database
• Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and welcoming
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages
• Prepare onboarding folders and materials for employees and clients
• Support general office operations and team projects as needed
• Monitor and restock office supplies, including PPE
• Assist with additional administrative projects as assigned

Job Requirements

• Experience in onboarding, HR support, or a similar administrative role
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
• Friendly, clear communicator with great people skills
• Ability to stay calm and efficient in a busy environment
• Experience in home care or healthcare is a plus, but not required
