Founding Product Engineer

Caivot is building a better way for people to follow through on what they start — commitments, partner check-ins, and visible progress, centered on real human accountability. We’re a small, early team.

What you'll own

The core product surfaces of Caivot — commitments, check-ins, partner requests, and feed activity — end to end, on both iOS and web.

Responsibilities

• Ship features across the Expo/React Native app and the Next.js web app, sharing the same backend and data model.
• Build and maintain commitment, check-in, and partner-request flows, including media uploads and notifications.
• Keep mobile and web in sync — the same commitment or check-in should behave identically on both.
• Work directly with the founder on product decisions, not just implementation.

Desired experience

• Experience shipping production React Native and React/Next.js apps.
• Comfortable owning a feature from data model through UI, not just one layer.
• Care about consistency — you notice when two platforms drift apart.

Working arrangement

Remote or hybrid. Founding engineering — high ownership, few layers.

Compensation

Discussed during the process. Equity available for founding roles.
