Mobile HVAC/R Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in facility management and engineering services, is seeking a dedicated Mobile HVAC/R Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Mobile HVAC/R Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining and optimizing critical building systems across multiple locations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Escanaba, MI

What's the Job?

• Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities.

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

• Conduct inspections of interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring energy efficiency and safety standards are met.

• Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo to document work performed and update work order statuses in real time.

What's Needed?

• Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).

• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a focus on HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and equipment maintenance.

• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems.

• Valid state driver’s license and willingness to perform call-in work as required.

• Strong technical knowledge of system design, applications, and maintenance procedures.
