Position Information Job Title: Adjunct Spanish Instructor Location: (not specified) Basic Function Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Spanish courses up to 10 hours per week. Organize and teach all levels of Spanish classes. Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning. Teach day, evening, and/or weekend assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses. Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester. Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired. Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students. Required Qualifications Master’s degree in the language taught. OR Bachelor’s degree in the language taught AND Master’s in Linguistics. OR The equivalent.
