Pharmacy Technician Opportunity

Seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support hospital pharmacy operations. This role involves ensuring medication accuracy, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent patient care assistance within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently in compliance with pharmacy protocols.
• Verify medication orders and stock levels to ensure availability.
• Prepare and dispense medications following safety guidelines.
• Maintain detailed documentation of pharmacy activities and patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication management.
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee license from the PA State Board of Pharmacy.
• Possess at least one year of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Comply with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts, including morning or late afternoon hours.
