Software Engineer - Distributed Systems

To support a leading technology organization focused on network simulation and automation, the fully remote Software Engineer - Distributed Systems will design, build, and maintain distributed backend services using Go and Python while collaborating with engineering teams to optimize performance and reliability. Key responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain distributed backend services using Go and Python Develop scalable platform capabilities for high availability and low latency Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve software delivery and automation Required qualifications: 4+ years of software engineering experience in backend or platform development Strong experience developing applications in Go (Golang) Proficiency with Python for automation and backend services Experience designing and supporting distributed systems platforms Understanding of networking fundamentals equivalent to CCNA-level knowledge
