Account Executive - Screening (The Bronx)
Guardant Health, Inc.
Guardant Health seeks a field-based Account Executive to drive adoption of Shield, a blood-based colorectal cancer screening test, among primary care providers in the Bronx. The role combines sales execution, provider relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration to expand early cancer detection capabilities in the region.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets by prospecting, engaging primary care providers, and securing Shield test adoption commitments
- Educate healthcare practices on product features and integrate Shield into clinical workflows across stakeholder groups
- Identify territorial business opportunities and establish phlebotomy draw agreements with regional laboratories
- Monitor competitive landscape and market trends, sharing insights with commercial leadership to refine strategies
- Ensure regulatory compliance and resolve provider issues proactively while managing CRM and administrative tasks
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years customer-facing healthcare sales (diagnostics, devices, or pharma) OR 2 years healthcare sales plus clinical experience as RN/PA
- Demonstrated success closing deals and exceeding sales targets in healthcare environment
- Strong CRM proficiency (Salesforce, Veeva, or equivalent platforms)
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with ability to translate complex information
- Superior negotiation, objection-handling, and relationship-building capabilities
- Preferred: Direct diagnostic or blood-based testing sales experience to primary care providers
- Preferred: Experience launching healthcare or diagnostic products
