Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification/license as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with school-aged children preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and behavioral intervention plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling, behavioral support, and crisis intervention for students
- Facilitate group and individual student interventions addressing social, emotional, and academic challenges
- Advise school staff and families on strategies that promote student well-being and achievement
- Collect and analyze data to identify needs and measure progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
