Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner Or Physician AssistantServes as a consultant in the field of Palliative Medicine, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Serves as a hospice provider, offering clinical oversight on care of hospice patients, both inpatient. We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid malpractice insurance.Practice Highlights:7-8 consults per dayInpatient coverage onlySome hospice care will be a part of this roleResponsibilities:Collaborates with colleagues in the management of patients, in outpatient settingsOffers care to patients with critical and life-limiting illness, focused on assisting them to achieve medical treatment concordant with their goals.Offers expert symptom management to assist patients in achieving maximal quality of life, despite their illness.Builds effective relationships with referring physicians and care teams, strives to improve collaboration centered on the care of these patients.In both Palliative and Hospice settings, works with an interdisciplinary team, offering support to both patients and families.Works with colleagues to improve the quality of care offered patientsNurse Practitioner - Masters degree in Nursing, New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license, two (2) years working experience as a nurse practitioner.
