Mammo Tech - Newark, New Jersey

A rewarding opportunity is available for a certified Mammography Technologist to support a busy imaging department on a 13-week contract. This role involves performing an average of 20 mammography scans per day, utilizing specialized mammography skills to provide high-quality breast imaging services. The position requires a NJ Radiology License and credentials including ARRT(M) and BLS certification.


Location:

Schedule:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid NJ Radiology License
• ARRT(M) Mammography Certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated experience performing mammography exams, averaging 20 scans per day
• Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammographic examinations in compliance with established protocols and patient safety guidelines
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and accuracy
• Maintain imaging equipment and QA standards
• Document procedures accurately and assist radiologists as needed
