Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Valid State License Required Certifications: Basic Life Support Must-Have: Experience in Neuro Telemetry, Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code Teams, Peripheral Line Care/Management. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Neuro Telemetry unit. The position requires the ability to float between different units. Full-time night shifts available, working three 12-hour shifts per week. Weekend shifts are mandatory, requiring six weekend shifts over a six-week schedule. Ratios expected are 1:4 during day and night shifts. Pre-approved time off is available. The facility comprises a Level II Trauma Center with a total of 379 staffed beds. Daily census averages around 27 patients. Team supports include IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is emphasized for optimal patient care. Knowledge in advanced neuro procedures and patient management strategies is essential. Candidates should possess experience in a fast-paced environment with electronic charting systems. Position floats may be required to nearby facilities. Refusal to float could impact contract guarantees.
