The Wilkes Brentwood is a 100-seat farm-to-table restaurant featuring elevated comfort classics. We pride ourselves on using fresh local produce, high-quality ingredients, and delivering an exceptional culinary experience in a warm, welcoming environment.
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Full/Part-Time Pastry & Prep Cook for a dedicated daytime schedule. Working directly under the guidance of our Head Chef & Head Pastry Chef, you will bake, prep, and batch components for our dessert menu prior to service. Ideally the candidate of this position has savory prep experience for our dinner menu also. The role then becomes a full time position that would include both pastry & regular savory prep work. Ideal candidate will have availability Monday-Saturday, mornings/afternoons. Must be a US Citizen or have permanent resident status.
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $25.00)

Required Skills:
- 1+ years of baking/pastry prep experience or culinary school equivalent.
- Pastry Production & Prep: Execute recipes created by the Head Pastry Chef to prepare, bake, and store dessert components ahead of service.
- Strong measuring skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Consistency & Precision: Maintain strict consistency in taste, texture, and measurements for all batched items.
- Prep List Management: Work through daily prep lists efficiently to ensure the station is fully stocked.
- Station Cleanliness: Maintain a hyper-clean, organized, and sanitary prep space adhering to health department standards.
- Inventory Care: Inspect ingredients for freshness, rotate stock (FIFO), and track prep levels.
