Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Manage a diverse caseload while collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and determine appropriate care interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing advanced life support skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance regulations.

Qualifications:

• Possess a current and valid state RN license.
• Maintain current BLS certification upon hire and throughout employment.
• Obtain ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current status.
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; RN-CC required within 2 years of hire.
• Obtain PALS certification within 30 days for units admitting pediatric patients.
• Hold an NIHSS Certificate.
