We are seeking a compassionate and caring Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team.
About the Role
As an OTA, you will work closely with our occupational therapy team to develop and implement effective therapy plans for our residents. Your duties will include:
Assisting occupational therapists in the planning and implementation of individualized therapy plans
Providing instruction and guidance to residents on adaptive techniques and strategies
Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify resident needs and goals
Maintaining accurate and thorough records of therapy sessions and progress
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
Responsibilities
Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans
Provide instruction and guidance to residents on adaptive techniques and strategies
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify resident needs and goals
Maintain accurate and thorough records of therapy sessions and progress
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of resident care plans
Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service and a positive attitude
