Wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion ingredients for daily recipes

Help cooks prepare scratch-made meals for students, faculty, and staff

Keep your work area clean, organized, and ready for service

Follow recipes, food safety guidelines, and allergy awareness procedures

Work alongside a supportive culinary team that takes pride in serving great food

Help keep the kitchen stocked, organized, and running smoothly

Schedule:

• Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00 am-4:00 pm
• Thursday 8:00 am-3:00 pm
• Friday 11:45 am-7:45 pm
• Saturday 10:00 am-7:00 pm
• Holidays and Summers off!

• Free Parking available on site!
• Conveniently accessible on the number 89 or 92 bus line!

Pay Type:

$18.00 - $19.00 Hourly

Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.

Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile.

Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes.

Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy amazing dining experiences.

Clean all work areas and customer service areas on an ongoing basis.

Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques always (HACCP).

Assist in training new culinary Team Members.

Endure exposure to extreme temperatures; intense heat and freezing cold.

Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.

Experience as a Prep Cook or Cook preferred, but not required.

Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in detail.

Ability to properly set up a buffet or serving station.

Experience in customer service strongly preferred, but not required.

Food safety certifications as required by jurisdiction.
