MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), with required weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for patients on a medical-surgical and telemetry unit. The RN will be responsible for monitoring and managing patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry data to detect abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
• Float to like units as needed to meet facility requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant setting.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start date.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Experience with telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias preferred.
