Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Charlotte, NC. This role oversees daily janitorial operations, including scheduling staff, assigning work orders, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met across client locations. The Operations Manager monitors performance metrics, manages supplies and equipment, and coordinates with vendors to maintain efficient and safe operations. Additional responsibilities include handling client communications, addressing service issues, supporting team training, and implementing process improvements. The Operations Manager collaborates closely with leadership to support business goals, uphold safety and compliance requirements, and promote a positive work environment.
Qualifications

• Experience in operations or facilities management, preferably within janitorial, cleaning services, or related industries.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, including staff scheduling, performance oversight, and coaching.
• Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships, manage service expectations, and resolve issues promptly.
• Solid organizational and time management skills, with capacity to oversee multiple sites, priorities, and deadlines.
• Basic understanding of cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting practices, as well as safety and compliance standards.
• Proficiency with common office software and digital tools for scheduling, reporting, and communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field is a plus.
• Prior supervisory experience and a track record of improving processes and operational efficiency are highly beneficial.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site across client locations in the Charlotte, NC area.
