Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in both full-time and per diem roles. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care and works effectively under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to improve strength, mobility, balance, and function Monitor patient progress and communicate updates or concerns to the Physical Therapist Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and functional mobility activities Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Ensure a safe and clean therapy environment Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Texas PTA license (or eligibility) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Physical Therapist Experience In Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing, Or Outpatient Settings Preferred Employment Types Full-Time: Consistent schedule with full benefits eligibility The starting hourly rate is $34.00 with adjustments made in accordance with the candidate’s experience level Per Diem: Flexible scheduling with as-needed shifts to fit your availability Benefits (Full-Time) Competitive compensation Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) Continuing education opportunities Sign-on bonus for qualified candidates Relocation bonus available for eligible applicants Supportive team environment Why Join AVIR at Enchanted Rock?
