Seeking a highly experienced Software Engineer to join a team supporting mission‑critical Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) programs The successful candidate will design, develop, deploy, and sustain scalable, cloud‑native web applications that leverage Kubernetes to orchestrate containerized services supporting advanced analytics and data‑intensive workloads This position offers the opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle while collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver secure, high‑performance solutions utilizing modern cloud, containerization, and microservices technologies Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, high‑performance web applications supporting enterprise analytics platforms Architect and implement cloud‑native applications utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices‑based architectures Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Python or Java Design and implement scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, transform, and deliver data supporting enterprise applications Develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations using modern front‑end frameworks such as React, Solid, or jQuery Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes Develop and execute unit, integration, and end‑to‑end test plans to ensure software quality, reliability, and maintainability Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting automated software builds, testing, deployment, and release management Monitor production applications, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement enhancements to improve system reliability and scalability Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and mission stakeholders to develop innovative technical solutions Communicate technical concepts, system designs, and implementation approaches to both technical and non‑technical audiences Participate in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, code reviews, demonstrations, and retrospectives Develop and maintain software documentation, design artifacts, interface specifications, and operational procedures Required Qualifications Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph Minimum of fourteen (14) years of Software Engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline Four (4) additional years of directly related Software Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirement Proficiency developing enterprise applications using Python or Java Experience with web application development frameworks such as Flask, Django, or Spring Boot Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices Experience developing data pipelines and supporting enterprise data processing workflows Experience working within Agile software development environments Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills Desired Qualifications Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, including Deployments, Pods, Services, Namespaces, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and resource management Experience developing or supporting Kubernetes Operators and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) Experience with Kubernetes monitoring, logging, and observability tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes Experience with Apache Spark or other distributed data processing frameworks Experience supporting cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps practices Experience supporting enterprise analytics, distributed systems, or cloud‑native application architectures Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans.
