2nd Shift Maintenance Technician - Food Products

Organic Energy Bar Manufacturer Maintenance Technician
Manufacturer of organic energy bars produced in a 20K sq. ft. USDA-certified production facility and a 30K sq. ft. warehouse distributing to over 4K retail locations across the US, including Whole Foods, REI, H-E-B, Amazon.com to name a few. The company has grown over 300% over the last 3 years.
Responsibilities:
- Performing regular and scheduled preventive maintenance on all equipment used in the plant to ensure the successful execution of production activities.
- Diagnose equipment failures and perform immediate repairs.
- Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand, power tools and welding equipment. Inspect for irregularities and malfunctions. Repair or replace defective parts.
- Optimize equipment for continuous improvement projects.
- Assist production line operators on changeovers and with daily operational activities.
- Complete work orders.
- Assist in ordering and maintaining parts and supplies.
36-hour Weekly Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts 6AM-6PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or 3 12-hour shifts 6PM-6AM Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with electro-mechanical equipment experience.
- Strong mechanical skills, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and some electrical, production machines.
- Other relevant experience; hydraulic, steam, or pneumatic systems.
- Read blueprints, machine drawings and electrical diagrams.
Hourly Rate: $28-$32 per hour, Health, Vision and Dental after 60 days, 401K, AFLAC- short term disability, life insurance, critical care, PTO, relocation assistance.
