Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans with an average volume of approximately 18 scans per day
• Float between two campus locations (approximately 16 minutes apart) as needed
• Participate in call rotation on a one-week-at-a-time basis (Monday–Friday 5:00 PM–6:30 AM, Saturday–Sunday 6:30 AM–6:30 AM) with a one-hour response time requirement
• Respond to call within one hour, including 30 minutes travel time and 30 minutes to have the patient on the table
• Precept other staff as needed by the unit
• Flex out during low-census days when not on call, as occasionally required

Required Qualifications

• Valid state MRI technologist license (Texas license required)
• ARRT certification in MRI or equivalent
• Experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting
• Ability to meet on-call response time requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Hands-on experience with Siemens Avanto 1.5T MRI equipment
• Experience precepting or training other technologists
• Ability to float between multiple facility locations
