Location: Shreveport, Louisiana

Pay: $2,232.00 weekly

Shifts: 11:30AM-8:00PM Monday-Friday as primary shift, with flexibility to work various shifts as needed

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
Administer medications and treatments according to protocols; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness
Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

BLS certification required from AHA
ACLS certification required from AHA
PALS certification from AHA or ENPC certification required
RN License in state of employment or compact
1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
