Print OperatorAmerican Direct Sales is a print service provider dedicated to quality and customer service. ADS partners with artists, photographers, local businesses, non-profits, and several large print-on-demand companies to print and manufacture various print items. Our products include unique, personalized wall art, photo prints and decor, printed gift items, signage, marketing materials, and more. The culture at American Direct Sales Inc. is supportive and motivating, bringing out the best service from our team.The Print Operator is an integral member of the printing and production team and is responsible for setting up and operating equipment, performing routine maintenance, and producing finish-cut products to match job specs within quality standards and deadlines. The primary responsibility of the Print Operator is prepping, sending, and printing files using digital printers.This is a full-time hourly position, working primarily 7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday. Depending on business volume and demands, overtime, including occasional weekends, may be required periodically. The Print Operator reports to the Print & Production Manager.ResponsibilitiesVerify quality meets expectations as a job is running to minimize waste.Take initiative to troubleshoot issues.Match output to order tickets with extreme accuracy.Communicate with managers and owners in a timely and effective manner.Perform general cleaning & maintenance on equipment; and maintain a safe & clean work environment.Support other team members during downtime by performing other tasks as assigned.Education, Qualifications, and RequirementsHS Diploma or equivalent6 months - 1 year experience as a Print Operator (training included).Digital and/or wide format printing experience a plusMust have a keen eye for minor imperfections and excellent attention to detail.Demonstrates problem-solving and decision-making skills that benefit business operations.Able to multitask and highly self-motivated.Must be able to work overtime and weekends as dictated by demand.Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for an 8-hour shift.EEO StatementAmerican Direct Sales is an equal-opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
