Tech Services Q.A. Representative

Becton Dickinson seeks a Technical Services Q.A. Representative to serve as the metrology and dimensional inspection subject matter expert at its Connecticut manufacturing facility. The role involves developing and maintaining precision measurement systems, conducting statistical analysis, and supporting quality compliance in a fast-paced medical device production environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as metrology and dimensional inspection subject matter expert for the site
- Develop, validate, and maintain measurement systems including vision and touch-probe equipment
- Lead Measurement System Analysis activities, statistical studies, and capability evaluations
- Perform dimensional inspections per engineering drawings and support quality investigations
- Train and support manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams on measurement best practices
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Minitab
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills in English
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and quality specifications
- Preferred: Six months manufacturing, metrology, or precision measurement experience
- Preferred: MicroVu equipment, MSA, Gage R&R, and SAP/Apriso experience
