Heat Treat OperatorThe heat treat process begins after the screws are manufactured in the manufacturing building. The screws are then moved to the heat treat building to be processed. As a Heat Treat Operator, you will be operating a heat treat furnace and using a forklift to load screws into the furnace. This role requires standing on your feet for a minimum of 8 hours a day.ResponsibilitiesOperate the heat treat furnace.Use a forklift to load screws into the furnace.Ensure proper processing of screws through heat treatment.Stand and work on your feet for a minimum of 8 hours each day.Essential SkillsMechanical inclination is a must.Experience in machine operation is highly recommended.Basic knowledge of heat treating processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with racking, construction, and stamping press.Mechanical aptitude, including oil change and machine operating.Experience in pipes, HVAC, or plumbing is advantageous.Why Work Here?This company takes care of its employees, treating temporary staff as if they were permanent. The facility is expanding with new temperature-controlled racking rooms being built.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Agawam, MA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
