Respiratory Therapist Position

Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide advanced respiratory care across multiple pediatric units. The role involves working in high-acuity environments including PICU, NICU, ER, and Acute Care, ensuring quality patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapies and interventions to pediatric patients in various units.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly to optimize respiratory function.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and patient responses.
• Ensure all procedures comply with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Respond promptly to emergencies requiring respiratory support.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid SC RRT license and active BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in working across PICU, NICU, ER, and Acute Care settings.
• Experience with medication systems such as Pyxis and Omnicell.
• Able to work 312 night shifts and float as needed in compliance with hospital policies.
• Strong team communication and documentation skills.
